How to Become a Security Guard in Queensland

1. Age: You must be 18yo or older to be able to apply for a Qld security license.

2. Criminal Record: You cannot have an Australian criminal record of any kind.

3. Passport Photo: You need to submit passport photos in your Qld application.

4. Australian Citizen: You need to be an Australian citizen or be legally allowed to work in Qld. You will have to submit a copy of federal or Qld government ID in the security license application.

5. English: You must be able to speak and write in English.

6. Qld Approved Security License Course: You need to take a Qld approved security licensing course.

7. First Aid: You need a current first aid certificate.

8. Application: You can apply via downloading the Qld security application.
