How to Become a Security Guard in Tasmania

1. Age: You must be 18yo or older to apply for a Tasmania security license.

2. Criminal Record: You cannot have a criminal record of any kind.

3. Fingerprints: You need to submit your fingerprints in the Tas application.

4. Passport Photo: You need to submit passport photos in your Tas application.

5. Australian Citizen: You need to be an Australian citizen or be legally allowed to work in Tasmania. You will have to submit a copy of federal or Tas government ID in the security license application.

6. English: You must be able to speak and write in English.

7. Tas Approved Security License Course: You need to take a Tas approved security licensing course.
